1 Privacy Policy

Binodan Tech built the Doculity – PDFs, Images & Scan application as a free utility application. This SERVICE is provided by Binodan Tech and is intended to be used as is.

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and disclosed when you use Doculity.

By using Doculity, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2 Information Collection and Use

Doculity may request access to certain device features when you choose to use functions that require them.

We request permissions only when they are necessary for a feature that you choose to use. You can manage these permissions through your device settings.

3 Your Files and Documents

Doculity allows you to work with files that may contain personal, confidential, or sensitive information, including PDFs, photographs, scanned documents, images, and other supported files.

Your files belong to you. Doculity does not claim ownership of any documents, images, PDFs, or other files that you process using the application.

Binodan Tech does not collect, upload, or store your documents, images, PDFs, or other files on its servers.

Files selected or created through Doculity remain under your control on your device, subject to your device's storage and operating-system settings.

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal documents, images, PDFs, or other files to third parties.

4 Camera and Scanning

Doculity may request access to your device camera when you use features that require camera access, including:

• Document scanning;
• QR code scanning;
• Capturing images for document-related operations;
• Other camera-based features that you choose to use.

Camera access is used to provide the feature you request. Doculity does not intentionally access your camera when you are not using a feature that requires it.

5 How We Use Information

Information that may be collected through Doculity or by third-party services integrated into the application may be used to:

• Provide and operate Doculity;
• Improve application performance and reliability;
• Maintain application security;
• Display and measure advertisements;
• Understand advertising performance;

Doculity does not use your personal documents, images, PDFs, or other files for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process certain information, such as advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, application information, and information relating to advertising interactions, in accordance with Google's applicable policies.

Advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your device, region, consent choices, and applicable requirements.

8 Log Data

If an error or crash occurs while using Doculity, technical information may be made available through the relevant operating-system mechanisms or services used by the application.

Binodan Tech does not receive or store files that you choose to share using your device's sharing or transfer functionality.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure or reliable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for protecting any files stored on it.

13 Data Retention

Binodan Tech does not maintain a server-side collection of your documents, images, PDFs, or other files.

Files created or processed using Doculity remain subject to the storage and deletion controls of your device.

Information collected by third-party services, such as advertising-related information, may be retained according to the respective third party's privacy policy and retention practices.

14 Your Choices and Permissions

You can control Doculity's permissions through your device settings.

Depending on your device and operating system, you may be able to:

• Allow or deny camera access;
• Allow or deny access to photos and media;
• Allow or deny file access;
• Manage notification permissions;
• Manage certain advertising or privacy settings.

If you deny a permission required by a particular feature, that feature may not function properly.

Doculity is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where such collection is prohibited by applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children where such collection is prohibited.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in violation of applicable requirements, please contact us. If we determine that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it where required.

17 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. We may also provide additional notice through the application or other appropriate means when required.
